International Scholarships, Assistance, and Awards

A Springfield College education is an investment in your future.  The Career Outcomes of our graduates make Springfield College a good investment!

We want you to help you make informed choices. As you consider your decision to invest in yourself, please take some time to consider the costs and your family’s resources.

Cost of Attendance

Undergraduate Student Cost

The international undergraduate student cost of attendance includes direct costs billed by the college, such as tuition, room and board, health insurance and fees. There are also estimated expenses that will not be billed by Springfield College but for which you must plan to budget (e.g., books/supplies, personal expenses, transportation). Between these direct and indirect costs, on average international undergraduate students should be prepared to fund approximately $35,000 per year towards their education, after scholarships and financial awards have been applied.

International undergraduate students will be required to show proof of funding for the first year costs in the Certification of Finances in order to be issued the I-20 form for the F1 visa.

Contact intladmissions@springfield.edu for more information.

Graduate Student Cost

The international graduate student cost of attendance includes direct costs billed by the college, such as tuition, fees and mandatory health insurance. Graduate program costs vary depending on the program, its length of attendance, and the mode of instruction (on-site, hybrid, or online). The cost of the program can be calculated by reviewing the information for your program of choice to determine the total number of academic credits required to complete the program. You can then multiply this by the cost per credit.

There are also estimated expenses that will not be billed by Springfield College but for which you must plan to budget (e.g., books/supplies, personal expenses, transportation). Graduate international students may choose to live in Springfield College graduate housing and eat their meals in campus dining halls.

Between these direct and indirect costs and after scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships, on average, international graduate students enrolled in 9 credits per term should be prepared to fund approximately $32,000 per year towards their education if living off campus or $35,000 per year if living on campus. These averages may fluctuate based on program and number of credits a student is enrolled in each term.

International graduate students will be required to show proof of funding for the first year costs in the Graduate Certification of Finances Form in order to be issued the I-20 form for the F1 visa.
